How to Check Your IELTS Results Online - IDP and British Council

The IELTS of the International English Language Testing System is a world recognized English speaking examination. Here in the Philippines, different kinds of individuals and professionals take the IELTS due to its importance – a primary requirement for employment, education and immigration. With this, examinees of the IELTS are encouraged to study or take review classes in IELTS review centers where they are taught on different techniques and strategies important in responding to the various tasks in the IELTS.

As many candidates know, the IELTS has four different language skills that are evaluated – speaking, reading, listening, and writing. In the Philippines, it is typical to have the speaking test done first, a couple of days before the written tests (reading, listening, and writing). The speaking test usually lasts for ten to fifteen minutes but candidates are expected to be at the test area a couple of hours before the scheduled time. The written tests additionally run for about three hours. After the test is done, the grueling waiting for the results takes place. As a candidate of the test, how will you be able to check your test results? Here’s how.

  1. I work with many 'highly skilled' migrants. Doctors in fact. And I can assure you that the requirement for an English language test is entirely necessary. I think you'll find you have to sit the IELTS test if applying to work in the UK or US as well.
