Two good reasons why an individual has to take an English proficiency examination: (1) as a requirement to a visa, work or student application to an English speaking country or (2) an assessment of one’s English fluency level. For whatever reason one must have, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) are known to tools for these English assessment.
