Writing Genres Part 1

6.    Essays seek to develop critical thinking abilities by building on coherent argument construction. They must be logically organized, evident-based, and supported by thesis statement and strong claims. There are different types of essays: Exposition, Discussion, Challenge, Factorial, Consequential, and Commentary.

7.    Critique compositions aim to exhibit cognizance of the subject matter and evaluate its significance to the field of study. Academic paper review and project evaluation are among the many types of Critique compositions.
